HELPING OUR NEIGHBORS DURING THIS TIME OF RECOVERY

Then a great and powerful wind tore the mountains apart and shattered the rocks before the Lord, but the Lord was not in the wind. – 1 Kings 19:11

When our fellow Alabamans hurt, it is a natural reaction to want to reach out to them and help in any way possible.  Local Churches and communities have been a huge help in restoring order to our State.  If you are looking for a way to donate, here is a partial list of organizations that are here to help.

 GIVE BLOOD

American Red Cross

DONATE MONEY

Mark your donations “Advance # 901670-1”

In parking lots all over town you will see drop off locations for the storm victims.  Any donations are greatly appreciated.  Here is a list, although not complete of items the survivors currently need:

Blankets,

diapers and wipes,

baby food/formula,

bottled water,

juice (individual),

packaged food,

packages of new underwear,

socks,

children’s shoes,

lightly worn shoes/clothes,

tarps,

generators and

gift cards to Walmart, Lowes, etc

Please take this time to give as you can to our neighbors in need.  And, of course, do not forget the greatest gift we can give is our prayers.
